Refund Policy
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs your rights and obligations with respect to refunds for courses purchased on Prep4exam (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing a course, you expressly agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein. This Policy forms part of and is governed by our Terms of Use.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
1.1. If a course purchased on Prep4exam does not meet your expectations, you may submit a written request for a refund within ten (10) calendar days from the date of purchase (“Refund Window”).
1.2. Refund requests submitted after the expiration of the Refund Window will not be honored, except as provided under Section 3 below.
1.3. Refunds, if approved, will be issued for seventy percent (70%) of the purchase price. The remaining thirty percent (30%) of the purchase price will be retained as an administrative fee.
2. Refund Process and Methods
2.1. Prep4exam reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine the method by which refunds are processed. Refunds may be issued:
(a) As a credit to your Prep4exam account, which may be applied toward future course purchases; or
(b) To your original payment method where feasible, subject to the capabilities and restrictions of our payment processing partners.
2.2. You acknowledge and agree that the method of refund shall be determined by Prep4exam at its discretion and that delays caused by external payment processing systems are not within our control.
3. Exceptions to the Refund Time Limit
3.1. Refund requests submitted outside the Refund Window shall not be eligible, except in the following circumstances:
(a) If a course previously purchased by you is permanently disabled by Prep4exam for legal, regulatory, or policy reasons, you may be entitled to a refund irrespective of the Refund Window.
(b) If Prep4exam determines, in its sole discretion, that a refund is warranted due to evidence of suspected or confirmed account fraud, a refund may be granted beyond the Refund Window.
4. Misuse and Abuse of the Refund Policy
4.1. Prep4exam strictly prohibits the misuse of this Policy. Instances of misuse include, but are not limited to:
(a) Consuming a substantial portion of the course content (30% or more) prior to submitting a refund request;
(b) Engaging in repetitive or frequent refund requests across multiple course purchases.
4.2. If Prep4exam determines, at its sole discretion, that you have engaged in misuse or abuse of this Policy, we reserve the right to take one or more of the following actions:
(a) Deny your refund request;
(b) Terminate your Prep4exam account without notice;
(c) Restrict your future access to the Prep4exam platform and services;
(d) Pursue any legal or equitable remedies available under applicable law.
5. Limitations and Finality of Refund Decisions
5.1. All refund decisions rendered by Prep4exam are final and not subject to appeal.
5.2. By purchasing a course, you expressly waive any right to contest Prep4exam’s refund decision, except as permitted by applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Additional Provisions
6.1. Prep4exam shall not be liable for any damages, delays, or losses arising from the processing of refunds, including delays attributable to third-party payment processing systems.
6.2. This Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Zambia without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
6.3. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth in Prep4exam’s Terms of Service.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a course on Prep4exam, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Refund Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you are advised not to make any purchases on our platform.
